 Samar's legend tells of a lost city called Biringan. It is said to be the home of Encantos, a portal to another world, and also to where those kidnapped by Encantos are brought. Sailors near the coast of Samar reported seeing a brightly lit metropolis in the middle of the sea. Watch the video to learn more:

All of this is clearly not true, as earthworms are actually more expensive than beef.

  The Tadtad cult is a Christian cult founded by a man called Papa Sagrado. Legend has it that when Papa Sagrado was baptized, the priest felt something sacred about him. He is said to be able to heal sick people with just his faith. The members also used bolos and axes to fight both the Army and the NPA communists, hence they are called the Tadtad.

The story goes that Robinson Mall owner John Gokongway has twin daughters, one is Robina Gokongway, an ordinary human, and the other is a strange human-snake hybrid. Gokongwei then let the serpent live in the basement of the Galleria Mall. That's because it's a Chinese tradition to keep snakes in business as good luck charms, it is said that he has hidden cameras in the changing rooms and likes to spy on pretty girls. He even made a mechanism to open the floor if there was a beautiful woman in the women's locker room. The story was made popular by actress Alice Dixon when she allegedly fell into the basement under the locker room after being seen by the snake. Luckily, she manages to escape from the basement. After this, she was interviewed on a TV show about what happened, but halfway through the interview, the show was quickly cut for unknown reasons.
